Description:
Come and give your handbag a 'spacelift' by customizing the
inner pockets on this easy to make tote so that your things all
fit neatly with room left over for extra things like quilt patterns,
fabric swatches or snacks to keep you going on shopping trips.
We'll use fusible fleece to give substance to the bag and you
will have an opportunity to practice (or learn) some quilting
skills and use decorative stitches on your machine (if you have
them).
Once you make this tote bag you will be able to use the same techniques
on any other bag that may strike your fancy.
The Bow Tucks Tote pattern with supply list is in the shop so
pick some coordinating fabrics that catch your eye.
A piece of plastic canvas will work well for a bottom.
Bring your sewing machine with a walking foot, basic sewing supplies
including a pencil, rotary cutter, ruler, contrasting thread for
the decorative stitching and get ready to get hooked on making
tote bags.
