About Us

Quilters' Nest is a friendly neighborhood quilt shop located in San Jose, California in the Princeton Plaza where Blossom Hill Road, Meridian Avenue and Kooser Road intersect.

We have a wide selection of 100% cotton fabrics (including an extensive selection of Batiks and Asian fabrics), patterns, books, quilting tools and notions. Our friendly staff is eager to help you with your quilting needs.

We offer a wide variety of classes taught by experienced teachers in our classroom.

A Message from Doris

Hello… and welcome to our shop.

We have a wonderful selection of Asian fabrics and one of the best collections of Batiks in the area.

Mondays are "Come and Sew Days". This is a free sew day from10am to 6pm just bring your project and your sewing machine. There is always someone here to help if you need it. Otherwise, just come and have fun.

Bolt of the Day
The first person to purchase a one yard (or more) cut from a bolt will receive 30% off the price of the fabric and that bolt becomes the "Bold of the Day". Everyone else who buys fabric from that bolt will also receive a 30% discount.

Need to lay out your quilt or use our design walls?
Just give us a call. If there is no class going on, you are welcome to use the classroom to pin your quilt or put up your panels or pieces on the design wall.

We are constantly adding new classes to our schedule. Make sure to check our calendar frequently.
